Well its Easter Monday today, and unlike everyone else who got to spend their day lazing at home eating Easter eggs, we headed over to UCT to take part in the annual 5km fun run/walk. We started off quite leisurely but after keeping up the rear end for quite a while daddy decided that he didn't want us to be last and picked up the pace with poor mummy suffering. It was quite a work out for me sitting in the pram and I thoroughly deserved my nice medal as you can see.

Poorly Chops
Yesterday was a bad day for me. I've had a bit of a rash this week and I woke up with a nasty swollen chin. Mum and dad were quite worried and took me to A & E at the Cape Town medi-centre. The doctors were very nice to me, but I had to have blood tests and nasty swabs taken. We will find out what my rash is soon hopefully. You can see me here with my poorly hand after my blood test. I was very brave and didn't cry at all when they took the blood. Can't say the same for the nasty swabs though!
The Penguins and Cape Point
We took Tessa to see the Penguins at Boulders Beach. Some of them were almost as big as me! We went on to Cape Point, where we climbed up millions and millions of stairs to reach the lighthouse. I was lucky though as mummy carried me all the way!
Tessa comes to visit
I was really sad when Andrea left, but luckily mummy's friend Tessa came to visit me soon after. YAY, another person to play with me! Tessa and I had lots of fun and saw lots and lots of Cape Town even though she didn't stay long enough. Here we are at Kirstenbosch and Signal Hill.
More of auntie Andrea's visit
I actually had so much fun with Andrea that I couldn't possibly tell you all about it in this blog - I am a busy boy after all! However, here's some more pictures from Andrea's visit.
Franschoek
Mum and dad decided to show Andrea a little further afield during her visit. So we went to the lovely town of Franschoek. Mummy and daddy's friend Deatrick came along too and we all had a great time.
My first trip to the beach
Andrea loves the beach, and so I had the perfect excuse to persuade mummy to take us. We went to the swish beach of Camps Bay and hung out for the day in the Sun under daddy's umbrella. I even got to use my new sun block for the first time! What a great day.
